Daniel co-founded PUBLIC with Alexander and is the Chief Executive Officer. Daniel has 20 years of experience in senior positions in government across the UK, EU, and US. Daniel was most recently Deputy Head of Policy at No. 10 Downing Street and Special Advisor to the UK Prime Minister. He was previously adviser to the Vice-President of the European Commission and has previously worked for the UN and the UK Foreign Office in Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen. He sits on the UK's Digital Economy Council, and the Coalition for a Digital Economy.
Elina is deputy director of Learning and Workforce Transformation at PUBLIC, where she leads PUBLIC's suite of workforce transformation programmes, including those delivered through our PUBLIC School of Technology. In both professional and personal life, Elina is passionate about delivering the best public services for citizens, and in how, in the digital age, we can unlock innovation, performance and human development through evidence-informed workforce and learning programmes.
Imogen is a manager in the workforce transformation team at PUBLIC. Her work focuses on the learning and curriculum development across the different transformation programmes. Prior to joining PUBLIC, Imogen led the design and implementation of an innovative admissions approach at the UK’s newest university, The London Interdisciplinary School (LIS). Previously she has worked to tackle disadvantage in education, including: qualifying as a secondary school teacher on the Teach First programme, working in the third sector to close the access gap to university in the UK and founding a charity to develop high-quality media literacy in young people.
Juan is a Learning Designer in the Learning and Workforce Transformation at PUBLIC, where he is helping to shape the learning experiences offered by the PUBLIC School of Technology. An ex-teacher, Juan is passionate about high quality education, and committed to designing learning experiences that equip public servants with the skills they need to drive public innovation.
Nathan is an associate in the learning and workforce transformation team at PUBLIC. He works within the PUBLIC School of Technology to conduct learning-oriented user research, delivering bespoke training programmes to government departments across the UK. Nathan holds a BA in Economics and Politics, and has a background in learning development, content design and user research within the GovTech sector.
Brooke is a Programme Associate at PUBLIC and supports learning in the Public School of Technology. She has experience in research, curriculum development, and program evaluation. In 2017 she co-founded an organization which creates bespoke curriculum and delivers workshops to reduce barriers to higher education and vocational opportunities for refugee students. Brooke has delivered courses at the School of the New York Times as well as crisis simulations for foreign service officers through the U.S. Department of State.
Ken is a Programme Associate at PUBLIC and helps deliver a smooth operation of the Percy Hobart Fellowship with the Learning and Workforce Transformation. Ken has also recently worked on the development of the Public School of Technology - PUBLIC's learning offering for public servants. Prior to Public, Ken worked in an IT support role at a French multinational company in Nigeria and then an Educational charity in North London.
Isabel is an associate in the learning and workforce transformation team at PUBLIC. She works within the PUBLIC School of Technology to deliver bespoke training programmes. Isabel's academic background is in Politics and Business with a particular focus on security studies. Before joining PUBLIC she gained experience working on leadership development for the private sector.
